Pit Bull Terrier - Dixie - Medium - Young - Female - Dog
Dixie is a 1 year old female American Pit Bull mix. Due to a home relocation, Dixie's former owner had to surrender her and another dog (see Bo). Both Dixie and Bo are being fostered by a family in the Vilas, N.C. area. Dixie's foster family has given the following report:
Dixie is simply amazing but will be best suited as an only dog. Dixie has shown to be aggressive towards other animals, including dogs. With an experienced trainer, Dixie may overcome her aggressive behavior but home with other pets will not be considered.
But Dixie is very loving with people, even loving to give “hugs” Dixie loves to play and is very strong, so a home without young children would be best. She has not shown any aggression towards people.
Dixie has received updates on all of her vaccines and has been spayed.
